Saint Thomas Lutheran of Eastpointe cordially invites you to join us for the most important week of the year.

Kintsukuroi, translated to mean “Golden Repair”, is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery using lacquer mixed with powdered precious metals like gold, silver or platinum.  Once the object is repaired, cleaned and dried, its former cracks are highlighted by veins of the metal running through its form.

Faith Connection Experience is a six-hour group conversation on the basics of the Christian faith.  Starting with the question “What does it mean to believe?” the day provides the opportunity to ask questions, listen to the thoughts of others, and re-think where we are in our walk

he best gift you have ever received?  Conversely, what’s the very best gift you have ever given?  Which means more to you today?  Do you expectantly wait at birthdays or Christmas pondering what wonderful surprise you may receive or do you get more joy from thoughtfully contemplating the perfect gift for your loved one?

We will gather in the sanctuary for reflections, prayers, and singing. Wednesdays at noon and 7:00 p.m.

Set Apart to Serve is the LCMS’ initiative to recruit pastors and church workers to hand over the saving faith to God’s people, passing on the Christian faith from one generation to the next until our Savior’s return.

The Detroit Lutheran Singers will be presenting “Lord of the Dance”, a 4 concert series for spring.  “Lord of the Dance” is an early American Shaker hymn with a text that evokes the life story of Jesus from birth to death to resurrection.
