Psalm 118:21-24
“I will praise You, For You have answered me, And have become my salvation. The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone, this was the Lord’s doing; It is marvelous in our eyes. This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.”
The cornerstone of a building orients and governs the whole building; in our case, the church, made of living stones, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets (NT, OT). Jesus IS the head of the corner from eternity but we see His exaltation in His resurrection from the dead (Philippians 2). What happens to our thoughts if we always begin our thinking with the resurrection of Jesus?
