This has been a very busy week and Thursday has come upon me too quickly.  So, no personal stories or thoughts this week.  Just three Bible passages around which you can create your own stories.

Greetings and Blessing:  “Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, who gave himself for our sins to deliver us from the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, to whom be glory forever and ever.  Amen.” (Galatians 1.3-5)

That log in my eye:  “Who is wise and understanding among you?  By his good conduct let him show his works in meekness of wisdom.  But, if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast and be false to the truth.  This is not the wisdom that comes down from above, but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic.  For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there will be disorder and every vile practice.  But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere.  And a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.” (James 3.13-18)

Getting ready for the upcoming season:  “The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof, the world and those who dwell therein, for he has founded it upon the seas and established it upon the rivers. … Lift up your heads, O gates! And lift them up, O ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in.  Who is this King of glory?  The Lord of hosts, he is the King of glory!” (Psalm 24. 1-2, 9-10)

I pray that there are as many interesting things happening in your life as I find are happening in mine these days.  You soon will be stuck with hearing more from me  … so enjoy this week’s shortie!
