Over the past two Sundays, I have seen a few faces in worship that I have not seen in the sanctuary for months. I also keep hearing about more and more people I know who have been vaccinated. And restaurants are back up to 50% capacity. I think things are loosening up – even if it is ever so slowly. I expect the Johnson & Johnson vaccine will help, too. First of all, it is a single-dose vaccine.
Alas! And did my Savior bleed, And did my sov’reign die? Would He devote that sacred head For such a worm as I? Thus might I hide my blushing face While His dear cross appears,
Dissolve my heart in thankfulness, And melt mine eyes to tears.

The STL Board of Directors is recommending that By-Law 1.1 be changed at the Special Voters’ Assembly on April 27. The proposal is to reduce the number of mandatory Voters’ Assemblies from three per year to one. This would eliminate the mandatory Voters’ Assemblies in September and January. The remaining one would be for elections in May.

The Macomb Food Program will be distributing food items to families in Macomb County facing food insecurity on March 18, 2021. Visit the Thompson Community Center in Warren between 10:00 a.m. and noon to pick up non-perishable food items and frozen meats, as well as dairy and produce (if available).
