How could anyone ever complain about a week like this toward the end of October! Beautiful sunshine every day – temperatures start in low 40’s but get way above normal by mid-day – full moon and meteor showers at night. I know today’s forecast is not that great, but this one day of possible rain is to be followed by a dry weekend of seasonal temperatures. Like I said, how could anyone ever complain about a week like this?
1 Corinthians 12.7 puts it this way: “To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good.” As we continue our focus upon being Fellow Workers on God’s Team, this week we look at “Our Role on God’s Team.” When God calls us to follow Him and become disciples, we become an important part of His team.
O day of rest and gladness, O day of joy and light, O balm of care and sadness, Most beautiful, most bright; This day the high and lowly, Through ages joined to bless, Sing, “Holy, holy, holy,” The triune God confess.
