(Hearts in Study and Hands in Service Women’s group) Just a friendly reminder that HIS II is beginning another seasonin His grace and we look forward to seeing everyone at our Bible Study/meeting on Sept 30th, 2024 at Saint Thomas in Conference Room #1, 6:30pm. Usually we meet at 7pm (on the 4th Monday of the month but pushed it forward a week due to MCREST). We are meeting earlier because we have backpacks to assemble and everyone’s help is appreciated for this very worthwhile project; and while we have often heard our mothers say “Many hands make light work” it still is so true! _. We also have another great bible study series planned, starting the season with “Mountain Top Journeys with Jesus“. The first study is: “Mountaintop of Revelation” led by Karen Dolan – which you don’t want to miss! (see summary below)* Come join us for fun and fellowship and a pleasant chance to grow in HIS Word!
* ” The aim of this bible study is to take mountaintop journeys with Jesus– actually 7 of them- to visit some of the mountains that marked his earthly sojourn among us and, throughout our travel, to remember and celebrate His unconditional love for us…we get so caught up in the ‘busyness’ of this work-a-day world that we “can’t see the forest for the trees”! …Sometimes it’s necessary just to stand back and ‘get you up into a high mountain’ “.
Blessings, Debbie Closurdo, Secretary, HIS II
