 DAY 2 — MONDAY, JANUARY 19
“Our Father”
Reflection:
Good morning, Church.
Today Jesus teaches us how to pray with two powerful words:
“Our Father.”
We do not pray as strangers trying to get God’s attention.
We pray as children who already belong.
Through Jesus Christ — through His cross and resurrection — God is truly our Father.
Through Baptism, you have been welcomed into His family.
That means prayer is not fearful.
It is confident.
It is trusting.
When you pray, you are speaking to a Father who already knows you and already loves you for Christ’s sake.

Reflection Questions:

What does belonging to God mean for me?
Where do fear or shame distance me from my Father?
How does living as God’s child shape how I treat others?

Let us pray.
Father, remind us today that we belong to You through Jesus.
Teach us to pray with trust and confidence in Your mercy.
Amen.
Rest today in the love of your Father.
Matthew 6:9
9 “This, then, is how you should pray: “‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name,”
