We are open to our community every 3rd Saturday of each month from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. (or earlier if clothing is gone for the day). This is a free service we will be providing to those in need of clothing, with donations gladly accepted (but not necessary) for cash or clothing. Please come to the north church doors facing Kelly road to obtain access to the closet. Each person/family coming to take advantage of our closet will be limited to the number of items they may take each Saturday. Donations are being accepted for used or new item of men, women, children and infant clothing, coats, hats, scarves, gloves, shoes and boots. Also for blankets, sheets, towels purses, belts, luggage and diaper bags. Also the closet is in need of hangers and plastic handle bags (i.e. Kroger bags).

We could also use your help if you are willing to volunteer for a Saturday to work in the closet, and other times during the month to sort and put clothing away. Please contact us if interested, or have any questions.

Yours in Christ,
Marilyn Redmond or Kathy Smith

Food Pantry

The Food Pantry has been a blessing to many individuals and families during the past several years. Through the generosity of many donors and the labor of numerous volunteers, the STL Food Closet delivers food baskets on Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas. While the baskets have been bountiful, the need continues to grow. Just this year we delivered over 40 baskets at Easter, 54 at Thanksgiving and 62 at Christmas. To meet the growing demand and the growing generosity of STL, the Food Closet will be open monthly beginning in January 2016. Each third Saturday from 11:00am until 2:00pm (except for SASS months) the STL Food Closet will be open. During the same time the STL Coat/Clothes Closet will also be open. With this new opportunity come new challenges. First, we will need food donations more regularly. Please keep an eye out on the message boards and outside the Food Closet for a list of needed items. Second, we currently have people serving the ministry but more hands would be welcomed. And finally, your prayers for the many people who serve and are served by this ministry are the most powerful tool we have. Please contact Tim or Elizabeth Kruse if you have any questions or wish to become involved in the ministry.
