“What is Islam?” – In the School Lobby


To the Western mind, the faith and practice of Islam are often a profound mystery. In recent years, this religion has emerged as a prominent -- yet misunderstood -- belief system. Through a DVD curriculum provided by Lutheran Hour Ministries, we will listen as Sam Shamoun, an Arab-Christian, unveils some of the mystique surrounding this religion first preached by Muhammad and today practiced by more than one billion people worldwide and then discuss what it means in our lives.

 

 

“Basic Understanding of the Bible” – In the “5th Grade” Classroom

 

If you have never been in a Bible study before … or if you find you have many un-answered questions … or if you are looking to put many fragmented pieces together …. THEN THIS CLASS IS FOR YOU.  Each lesson begins by addressing your questions, and then proceeds to work on putting the pieces together.

 

 

“Reading through Ephesians” – In the Conference Room

 

A leisurely journey through the letter of Paul written to the church in Ephesus – with ears wide open to hear the message that God has for his people today.

 

 

“Junior High Study” – In the Fireside Lounge
